Word and parts of speech

Word
A unit of language that native speakers can identify.
Syllable
Sound separation of word is called Syllable.
(1) Monosyllable: A word that consists of one syllable 
Examples:-Pen,hen,book,boy,man,tree
(2) Disyllable: A word that consists of two syllables
Examples:-Ma-ngo,dri-ver,use-ful,mas-ter,pri-vate
(3) Trisyllable: A word that consists of three syllables
Examples:-Ac-ci-dent,e-ner-gy,ab-sol-lute,op-po-site
(4) Polysyllable: A word that consists of more than three syllables
Examples:-Ex-pe-ri-ence,tech-no-lo-gy,Clas-si-fi-ca-tion,fun-da-men-tal,ex-pe-ri-ence 
Part of speech
  Every word is called a part of speech.
There are Eight of parts of speech
(1)Noun (2)Pronoun
(3)Adjective (4)Verb
(5)Adverb (6)Preposition 
(7)Conjunction (8)Interjection
